Sesame oil

Sesame oil, also known as hemp oil or sesame oil, is a commonly used condiment in daily life. It not only has high nutritional value but also possesses some lesser-known health benefits. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that sesame oil has the effects of moisturizing dryness, replenishing fluids, calming wind, detoxifying, killing parasites, and reducing various sores and swellings. Sesame oil, used medicinally, is the fatty oil obtained by pressing the mature seeds of the sesame plant (Sesamum indicum) from the Pedaliaceae family. It is also referred to as hu ma, you ma, ju sheng, zhi ma, or fragrant oil. This product is a clear, pale yellow or brownish-yellow liquid; it has a faint odor or carries the aroma of roasted sesame, with a mild taste.
